May Ball 2025





Cross Country Carnival
This year, our annual Cross Country Carnival started with near perfect weather conditions and a great sense of excitement. Students took on distances ranging from 800m to 3.4km, showing encouragement, dedication and house spirit.
Congratulations to everyone that ran and walked, the participation and sportsmanship made us proud. Thank you to the HPE team that makes events like this possible with all the behind-the-scenes work.

Congratulations to MacKillop House, who won this year’s Cross Country Carnival. Participation was double that of last year, well done to all students for this fantastic effort!

Huon and Channel Cross Country Carnival
Well done to our team of 37 Primary students for their individual efforts and great teamwork, representing SJCC at the Huon and Channel Cross Country Carnival on Wednesday this week.

Pathways Year 9 & 10
On Wednesday this week we welcomed Jacob Alsford, Lieutenant Commander, RAN from Navy Headquarters,Tasmania. Jake took the Year 9 and 10 students through his journey of becoming a Naval officer and Lieutenant, discussing his overseas deployments and the courses he completed through his career.
