Dear friends of St James Catholic College,
As you may be aware, Joe has taken some leave to be with is father in Croatia. We wish them both all the best and we look forward to Joe's return in Term 4. While he is away, I am privileged to be supported by Donna Duggan as our Deputy Principal, Secondary and Andrea Watt as our Deputy Principal, Primary. Please feel free to contact us via the office should you need.
In planning for Term 4, please note that the first day back (Monday, 14th October) is a Student Free Day as we work on our CET Insight Strategy. Buses will operate as usual from Tuesday, 15th October.
As Joe mentioned in our last newsletter, feedback is a important tool that supports continued improvement. At St James Catholic College, teachers share feedback with students in order to support their development of skills and knowledge and likewise, as an organisation, we seek feeback from our community of staff, parents and students to reflect on our practice and continue to improve and adapt to the needs of our vibrant school. As such, our School Improvement Survey has been sent out from Insight SRC and we ask for your input.
Insight SRC is conducting a school improvement survey on behalf of St James Catholic College and Catholic Education Tasmania. It is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of parents' perceptions of their children’s experience of school.
While your participation is voluntary, it is important to remember that the success of this important project is dependent on the involvement of all parents. If you require any support to complete the survey, please contact our office and if you would like to read more, go to:
